Weatherproof boxes
Red Dot metallic and nonmetallic boxes are designed to protect wiring devices, switches, electronic components, and terminal blocks in dry, damp, and wet locations. To ensure Red-Dot boxes are weatherproof, all unused hubs are blocked using zinc close-up plugs which are installed using a putty.
Red Dot boxes are available in single double and three gangs rectangular as well as round configurations – with a variety of hub sizes and extensions to meet all needs.
Weatherproof covers
Red Dot offers a wide variety of metallic and nonmetallic standard and while-in-use covers that offer protection against various environmental elements. Our selection of outdoor covers is code-compliant for damp and wet locations. Red Dot metallic and nonmetallic covers help ensure that you meet the Canadian National Electric Code requirements, including those for extra duty.
